Small Groups

It is our vision to be a church that teaches and preaches God’s Word. It is important to be a believer who knows and lives out the teachings of the Bible. The Word is vital to the making of a disciple and to the maturity of a believer. Therefore, we attempt to give people many opportunities to study and to be under the teaching and preaching of the Word of God. We are a Biblical church, and we make no apologies for this. We believe that no one can grow as a believer apart from knowledge of the Bible. On Sunday mornings, we usually offer Bible study classes for every age group from pre-school to senior adult.

Currently, we have had to shut down these classes but are looking forward to reopening them in the fall if the situation allows for it.

During the week, we have at least 3 Bible Studies available for adults:

1. Monday Morning Women’s Community Bible Study at 9:15 am
   This class taught by Jan Hall will resume meeting on Monday, September 14 at 9:15 am in the worship center.

2. Tuesday Morning Pastor’s Class at 10:00 am
   Bible Study is meeting in the worship center on Tuesdays at 10:00 am. They are currently going through the book of Daniel.  We are continuing to ZOOM for those who remain at home. If you need information on this class or how to participate by Zoom, please contact the church office.

3. Wednesday Evening Bible Study at 6:00 pm
   Taught by Ron Bodlander. Currently meeting through ZOOM, but will begin meeting in person on Wednesday, September 16 at 6:00 pm in room A -102. They are currently going through the book of Isaiah. Details of how to attend this class on Zoom are emailed each Monday to members, but if you would like to participate, please contact our church office, and we can send you the email information on how to attend this class by Zoom.

Small Groups

​

Through the years, we have had several small groups for adults that meet at different times in members’ homes. These are wonderful opportunities for believers to learn God’s Word in a relaxed setting and get to know other people better. Small groups are very effective, and we are making plans to begin several new small groups in different places sometime in the fall–but again when we can start these groups safely is dependent upon the COVID-19 situation in the fall.
